Whitecroft Heritage range of straight pins in 4 types.
#1 High quality Hard and Tempered steel dressmaking pins measure 34mm long x 0.60mm in diameter. These pins are nickel plated steel and have a super smooth finish and fine sharp points. They come in clear plastic reusable storage packs and have approximately 300 pins per pack.
#2 High quality pins made of pure brass, measure 16mm long and 0.65mm in diameter. Ideally used for lace and sequin work. They come in clear plastic reusable storage packs and have 400 pins per pack.
#3 High quality Black Pins. Perfect for dressmaking and a variety of fabric work but also commonly used for general sewing purposes.They measure Pins 26mm long and 0.80mm in diameter. These pins are made of mild steel which has been chemically blackened. They are packed in a clear reusable plastic storage pack and there are approximately 300 pins per pack. The manufacturer recommends the black pins are tested on a scrap or remnant piece of material to test for any trace of colour transfer before applying to use.
#4 High quality Hard and Tempered straight pins that are 24 carat gold plated for super smooth sleek insertion into the finest of fabrics. They measure 30mm long and 0.50mm in diameter. Commonly used for beading and jewellery work. They are packed in a reusable plastic pack with 100 pins per pack.
